I almost copied a demo recipe onto the full game. The Steam news post for demo v1013 says bat and scorpion carcasses gained new uses on 15 June 2026. MeowDB’s demo enemy table has giant bats dropping the carcass. The full-game item list still contains the name, and no public full-game recipe landed in the sources I read on 16 October 2026.
What is confirmed
Demo v1013 added uses. The demo page on changes lists the rest of that patch, including food rot and a grill that can burn food. Do not assume the June demo use survived unchanged into build 25955406.
If you are cooking for the bat-room gold door, the posted dishes are meat stew, vegetable stew, and bean soup. None of those posts list a bat carcass as a required ingredient. See the table-slots page before you grind bats for a door.
