Corn gem
Checked 2026-10-16. Steam build 25955406. Patch 1.0.47.0.
Two notes, and I am printing both. NPC Tips’ sanctuary-door page, file-derived and not filmed, says the corn gem shares a small chest with a grinding stone and 10 arrows. Steam user Kodi wrote that it is in the golden-door area, the second door on the left behind the skeleton archer. I have not walked either spot.
What the gem is for
Bean, corn, guarana, and tomato gems are the sanctuary-door set. The corn gem is also an achievement item, so picking it up should pop that hidden achievement even before you socket it. The true ending cares about returning treasures, which is a second step.
Wild corn in the bat room is a different object. Players say picking up wild corn unlocks the cooking table. Do not grind the gem looking for a cooking unlock.
