Silver dagger
Checked 2026-10-16. Steam build 25955406. Patch 1.0.47.0.
Cold damage in the starting room looked like an armor problem until I read the freezing thread. Players there say armor does not stop it. A ghost does. The dagger they name is the one behind the jaguar door, and you see the ghost with a vision potion made from glowing mushrooms.
Where it is and what it does
The dagger is behind the jaguar door. It is also the only weapon among the 23 achievements; picking it up is what should unlock that achievement. Returning treasures to slots is a separate action.
Launch week had a backpack bug that deleted the dagger and stranded runs. Patch 1.0.47.0 on 15 October 2026 lists backpack and death-bag fixes, including bags washing ashore. A same-day player post still reported a lost item. I cannot say the dagger bug is fully gone.
